Meet Dr. Lina Fouad
Dr. Lina Fouad is a board-certified OB/GYN and distinguished leader in women's health with a comprehensive approach to care that spans a wide range of specialties. With extensive experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, Dr. Fouad completed a prestigious two-year American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS) at Mayo Clinic, where she performed over 1,400 surgeries, honing her skills in advanced techniques and patient-centered care. She has been serving women in Northeast Florida/ Jacksonville area since.
Her expertise extends to personalized weight loss therapy, hormone therapy, and aesthetic treatments. She is a member of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) and is on the path to becoming a certified obesity medicine physician. Dr. Fouad’s commitment to achieving optimal health outcomes includes tailoring weight loss plans to individual needs, utilizing bioidentical hormone therapy to restore balance and vitality, and offering cutting-edge aesthetic therapies to enhance natural beauty.

Accolades
Dr. Fouad has spent seven years as academic faculty at the University of Florida. There, she served as the director of the Section of Gynecology. She was a vital educator for the OB/GYN residency program and performed hundreds of
complex gynecologic procedures. She has a passion for teaching the next generation of physicians in her field of medicine. In honor of her outstanding teaching, she has consistently received the University of Florida College of Medicine Exemplary Teacher Award and the OB/GYN Department Golden Apple Teaching Award. Dr. Fouad was awarded the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence in Teaching Award in 2020.

Expertise
Dr. Fouad is an expert gynecologic surgeon and performs contemporary minimally invasive conventional laparoscopy, robotic- assisted laparoscopy using the daVinci® robotic surgery system, hysteroscopy, and vaginal surgery. She is skilled in the field of complex surgical management of advanced-stage endometriosis and uterine leiomyomas (fibroids). She believes in an individualized approach to medicine and patient care; and practices in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach in serving her patients and in managing complex pathology.
